The successful candidate will contribute to the review, development, research, and evaluation of alcohol and drug policies for the WA Police Force.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policies and projects to reduce the supply, demand, and harm associated with alcohol and other drug use.
  • Contribute to the review, development, research, and evaluation of alcohol and drug policies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address gaps in policy and project implementation.
  • Provide advice and support to senior management on policy and project matters.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and industry partners.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in policy development, project management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and partnership.
  • Knowledge of the WA Police Force's policies and procedures, as well as relevant legislation and regulations.
