The Role
We are seeking a skilled Mobile Plant Operator to join our team. As a Mobile Plant Operator, you will be responsible for conducting pre-start checks on plant and equipment, preparing and positioning plant for operation, and completing tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-start checks on plant and equipment to ensure safe operation
- Prepare and position plant for operation, including excavations and trimming to level
- Complete tasks as required, including working with a spotter to ensure excavations are in line with drawings
- Perform other general duties as required
Requirements
- 2+ years of industrial experience as a Mobile Plant Operator
- Previous construction experience within the mining and resources sector (preferable)
- High Risk work licence with EWP (WP) over 11 meters
- Valid Working at Heights (desirable)
- Spotter Training
- Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness card
