The Role:

- Perform maintenance and repair activities
- Work in accordance with OEM documentation and airworthiness requirements
- Utilise ERP and maintenance worksheets to accurately record job progress
- Identify and act on opportunities for improvement
- Maintain a clean & tidy work area free of Foreign Object Debris (FOD)
- Take all reasonable steps to ensure own safety and the safety of others
- Actively participate as a team member to achieve team goals and deliver results
- Key Requirements:

  • Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing;
  • Dangerous goods and/or extinguishing agent handling Licence (EAHL) would be an advantage;
  • Experience handling and working with Halon is preferred;
  • A background in electrical servicing would also be an advantage;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high level of accuracy and the ability to read and understand technical data;
  • The ability to maintain documentation of work in progress and to follow written procedures;
  • Capable of working independently with a continuous improvement approach;
  • Ability to use Information Technology packages such as Microsoft Office and maintenance/production software;
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience working within airworthiness rules and regulatory requirements would be an advantage;
  • A passion and drive to deliver high-quality results.
