Cloud Infrastructure Solutions Specialist

As a Senior Platform Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, managing and retiring infrastructure that supports digital services.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide day-to-day operational support for Red Hat OpenStack and Ceph clusters in a production environment.
- Automate routine maintenance, upgrade, and deployment activities using tools such as Ansible, Python, and Bash.
- Identify areas for improvement and independently deliver platform enhancements.
- Develop and maintain clear and concise documentation to support operational continuity.
- Transfer technical knowledge to permanent staff through structured handovers and collaboration.
- Demonstrated experience in deploying, administering, and supporting large-scale on-premises Red Hat OpenStack environments.
- Proficiency in infrastructure automation using tools such as Ansible, Python, and Bash.
- Familiarity with source control systems, particularly Git, and modern development workflows.
- Experience in the design, deployment, and support of large-scale Red Hat Ceph storage clusters.
- Experience in OpenShift/Kubernetes administration in an on-premises enterprise environment.
- Experience managing and troubleshooting enterprise-grade physical hardware and networking used in cloud infrastructure platforms.
This is a long-term contractual position requiring NV1 Security Clearance or above.
