About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team at Bupa Dental Petrie. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our clinical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring patients receive exceptional care and attention.
  • Prepare patients and facilities for dental treatment, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Deliver quality chairside assistance to our dentists, supporting them in providing the best possible care.
  • Provide instrument sterilization and maintain infection control standards and procedures.
  • Meet and greet patients, providing a warm and welcoming first impression.
  • Book and amend appointments, answer phone calls, and update patient records.
  • Support the Practice Manager and clinical team in the smooth running of the practice.
  • Making patients aware of dental services and offers.
  • Handling payments and accessing sensitive information while maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with patients in a friendly and warm manner.
Requirements
  • 2+ months experience in Australia as a Dental Assistant.
  • Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting highly regarded.
  • Current Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Motivated self-starter with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about customer service and patient care.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Ability to build rapport with patients in a cheerful and light-hearted manner.
