Role Overview

CPC Engineering is seeking a skilled Concrete Specialist to join our team of experienced tradespeople. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for forming and pouring concrete slabs, footings, and walls for various projects in mining and infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Form and pour concrete slabs, footings, and walls for various projects
  • Drive the maintenance of a safe and healthy workplace
  • Ensure all work is in accordance with industry best practice
  • Interpret drawings and read survey stakes to establish appropriate grades
  • Set formwork and reinforcement for simple to complex structures
  • Prepare worksites for concrete footings and assemble concrete forms
  • Work autonomously or as part of a team
  • Pass Medical and Drug & Alcohol tests
  • Work in remote locations
  • Hold a current WA drivers' license

Requirements

  • Experience in all aspects of pouring and finishing concrete slabs, footings, and walls
  • Previous exposure to an engineering or mining environment in concreting roles
  • Experience in surface and underground installations
  • Able to interpret drawings and read survey stakes
  • Able to set formwork and reinforcement
  • Ability to work in remote locations
