Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to oversee and lead the health, safety, and environmental initiatives on a large-scale industrial project.

The HSE Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, promoting a strong safety culture, and implementing effective HSE management systems.

This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to protect the workforce and the environment while ensuring project objectives are met.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the project-specific HSE management plan.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to ensure a safe working environment across all project phases.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture through engagement, training, and consistent communication.
  • Advise project leadership on HSE-related issues, risks, and strategies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certifications: NEBOSH Diploma, IOSH membership, or equivalent qualifications. Environmental management certifications (e.g., ISO 14001) are advantageous.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of HSE management experience on large industrial or construction projects.
  • Proven track record of implementing and managing HSE systems in a high-risk environment.
  • Experience with incident investigation, risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory compliance.
