Transforming Australia's Digital Landscape as a Customer Field Technician

You'll play a vital role working on customer service field tasks across all nbn technologies, based in Darwin. This autonomous position involves installation, repair and maintenance of nbn products and services.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Cabling installation, including copper and fibre, encompasses jointing, jumpering, and splicing.
  • The role also involves customer premises installation of nbn Customer Premises Equipment (CPE), as well as fault diagnosis and repair of nbn cabling networks and nbn CPE.

A Day in the Life:

Typically includes any or all of the below functions while delivering exceptional customer service within your role:

  • Cabling installation, including copper and fibre, encompasses jointing, jumpering, and splicing.
  • The role also involves customer premises installation of nbn Customer Premises Equipment (CPE), as well as fault diagnosis and repair of nbn cabling networks and nbn CPE.
  • Positions operate between the hours of 7am to 7pm, depending on business needs, and we encourage a flexible working environment.

Your Ideal Background:

We're seeking both experienced candidates as well as those with transferable skills from a communication cabling or electrical background and who are keen to explore a new career in the telco sector.

A large part of this role is working in customer's premises, so it will also be important you have exceptional customer service skills and can display honesty and integrity while being self-managed and motivated.

We will also be looking for a current & clean Driver's License and strong and personable communication skills, both written and verbal.
