Job Title:

A Creative Arts Educator is required to teach and inspire students in various forms of artistic expression.

About the Role:

This part-time role involves teaching Visual Arts to Year 7-12 students at our Hurstville Campus, with a focus on delivering high-quality education according to the NSW Curriculum. The successful applicant will be responsible for developing engaging lesson plans and delivering expert instruction to foster creative growth and skills development.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within the Creative Arts Team. A passion for visual arts education and experience working with students aged 11-18 years is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach Visual Arts Other courses or classes as appropriate
  • Full involvement in the total school program
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the Creative Arts Team
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong background in Visual Arts Education, with qualifications and experience relevant to teaching students aged 11-18 years
  • An understanding of the NSW Curriculum and its implementation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues
