We are seeking a skilled Handyman/Maintenance Officer to join our team in Chambers Flat. This is a full-time position working approximately 38 hours per week, with opportunities for career growth and development within a dynamic organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation at the site, including regular checks and attendance to general repairs.
- Ensure the proper use and storage of materials, consumables, and gardening equipment to prevent accidents and optimize productivity.
- Administer all repairs and maintenance to tools, equipment, and machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain a small sewerage treatment plant to prevent environmental hazards.
About You:
- Previous experience working as a handyman or in a maintenance position is preferred.
- 'C' Class Driver's Licence is essential for this position.
- Great customer service skills teamed with a positive attitude and a strong attention to detail are necessary for interacting with residents and visitors.
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster is required.
