About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our multidisciplinary team as a Nurse Practitioner - Sexual Health Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will provide patient intake support, including ordering blood work, providing assistance, and taking histories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review pathology and triage patients with clinical concerns for reassurance or escalation to the medical team.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of practitioners to provide comprehensive care.
  • Demonstrate a warm, friendly manner with excellent phone and communication skills.
  • Specialize in Sexual Health in primary or public health.

Requirements

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Specialization in Sexual Health or Primary Care.
  • Endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Professional Indemnity.
  • Full Australian working rights.
  • Current Prescriber Number or the ability to obtain one.
  • Thorough knowledge of Australian healthcare regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
