Job Overview

Our client is a multi-award-winning principal contractor with 60+ years of success delivering iconic projects across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, heritage, aged care, community, and hospitality sectors.

Recently securing new projects across southern, north-west, and western Sydney, they seek Site Supervisors, General Foremen, Site Supervisor and Foremen to join their expanding team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead site operations to maintain project schedules, control costs, and deliver superior quality outcomes.
  • Facilitate clear and consistent communication with clients, project managers, and subcontractors to swiftly resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
  • Manage and maintain accurate site documentation, including material orders, daily reports, and safety compliance records.
  • Oversee and drive strict adherence to safety standards, fostering a proactive and safety-focused environment on site.
  • Regularly inspect the site to assess work quality, progress, and identify potential improvements or risks.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery.
Requirements
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to quickly solve problems in high-pressure situations.
  • Experience supervising teams as a Foreman or Site Supervisor on construction projects for Tier 1, 2 or 3 principal contractors.
  • Deep understanding of construction techniques, building processes, and site safety requirements.
  • Qualified through relevant trade certifications or equivalent practical experience in construction management.
  • Highly proficient in reading and interpreting detailed construction drawings and project specifications.
  • Outstanding leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate, direct, and manage on-site teams for successful project delivery.
