Public Relations Officer - Australian Army

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Relations officer to serve in the Australian Army, based in Brisbane.

  • The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and implementing publicity and reputation management strategies for the Australian Defence Force.
  • Collaboration with unit commanders is essential to handle specific issues and draft media releases.
  • Content management for public consumption, including images of service personnel in action, is a critical aspect of this role.
  • The selected candidate will represent the Australian Army at various events and functions.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in PR, Corporate Communications or Journalism, along with at least three years' experience in a related field. Marketing graduates with relevant experience may also be considered.

The successful applicant must be willing to undergo standard ADF entry protocols, including government background checks.
