Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fruit and Vegetable Manager to join our team. As a key member of our grocery retail team, you will be responsible for leading and managing our fresh produce department.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction in the fresh produce department.
- Lead and manage a team of staff to ensure excellent customer service and a high level of product knowledge.
- Monitor and control inventory levels, ordering, and stock management to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and training to staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including work health and safety standards.
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to drive sales and improve customer engagement.
Requirements
- Significant experience in fresh food retail management, preferably in a supermarket or grocery retail environment.
