Job Description

The Regional Engagement Volunteer is a dynamic and rewarding role that supports other volunteers, both new and existing, with training and social events, speaks with local groups, community services, and media to build awareness of Red Cross aged and community care services available, and helps share and celebrate the impact our volunteers make every day of the year.

This role requires the ability to engage with other volunteers and members of the community at face-to-face and online events, including those with different lived experiences, abilities, and cultures, and provide information from and to Red Cross to support our volunteers and their impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Spearhead engagement initiatives to foster connections among volunteers and community members
  • Broaden awareness of Red Cross services through outreach and partnerships with local organizations
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and implement community-based programs
  • Foster relationships with stakeholders to enhance volunteer experience and community outcomes
