Afternoon Shift MIG Welder Opportunity

At Titan Manufacturing, we are seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join our afternoon shift team. This role is responsible for manufacturing and assembling waste equipment components using MIG welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out high-quality MIG welding to manufacture and assemble waste equipment components.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication plans accurately.
  • Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and conformance to Australian Standards.
  • Operate hand tools, cutting equipment, grinders, and workshop machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, measuring, and aligning components prior to welding.
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet manufacturing schedules and quality targets.
  • Maintain workshop cleanliness and perform basic equipment maintenance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in MIG welding and steel fabrication.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and welding symbols accurately.
  • Good physical fitness and ability to lift and handle materials safely.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety standards.
  • Forklift and overhead crane licenses (desirable but not essential).
  • Knowledge of AS/NZS welding standards (desirable).
