Warehouse Storeperson Role

We are seeking a motivated team member to excel within our dynamic warehouse environment. The role ensures orders and freight are stored, picked, packed, and loaded onto trucks safely.

This includes checking paperwork, cross-checking stock to ensure its correct and communicating with the Warehouse Supervisor if there are any issues. Some administrative support is included in the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and Unloading Freight: General freight (various types of freight)
  • MHE Operation: Counterbalance and high reach forklifts to pick/pack orders as required
  • Loading and Unloading Vehicles: Freight on vehicles
  • Loading and Unloading Containers: Freight from containers
  • Administrative Support: As required
  • Effective Communication: With warehouse staff, drivers, customers
  • Freight Management: Ensure freight is managed from beginning to end
  • Stock Take and Inventory Control: Regular stock take and inventory control
  • Facility Maintenance: Ensure facility is safe, clean, and maintained in a tidy state
  • Safety Promotion: Work to promote safe work practices and safe working environments
  • Site Rotation: Operate between Lytton and Acacia Ridge warehouses based on operational requirements

Requirements:

  • Attention to Detail: Able to pick correct products and cross-check
  • Licenses: Current QLD driver's license and Forklift license essential
  • Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse/store person role and forklift operation
  • Administrational Skills: Experience in administrational role
  • Operational Knowledge: Operational knowledge in a general freight transport business
  • Teamwork: Ability to work in a team environment, as a team member
