We are seeking a visionary engineering leader to spearhead our major projects, including Renewable Energy Zones, 500kV Substations, and Overhead Transmission Lines.

This role requires providing technical direction for engineering during the tender phase of projects, fostering collaboration within the engineering team and across the business, and leading the selection and partnership with external design firms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership for engineering during the tender phase of projects
  • Foster a culture of teamwork within the engineering team and across the wider business
  • Lead the selection and partnership with external design firms, developing strong working relationships
  • Assign key personnel and conduct peer reviews and technical audits
  • Drive engineering's contribution to business development, including building client relationships
  • Lead staff training and support ongoing professional development
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Senior/Engineering Manager on major energy infrastructure projects (HV, Substations, Transmission Lines)
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g., BSc Engineering)
  • CPEng or eligibility to obtain
  • Membership (or eligibility) with a relevant engineering institution (e.g., Engineers Australia)
