Senior Civil Engineer Position

This role entails overseeing and implementing civil engineering projects focused on land development from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical expertise, leadership abilities, and experience in managing multidisciplinary teams.

Main Responsibilities:
  • The successful applicant will lead the design and planning of civil engineering projects including roads, utility supply systems, stormwater management, and site development.
  • Detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications must be prepared and overseen by the candidate.
  • A team of engineers, CAD technicians, and other design professionals will be managed and coordinated by the successful candidate.
  • Site investigations, feasibility studies, and environmental assessments are crucial tasks that the candidate must conduct.
Essential Requirements:
  • A Professional Engineer license in North Carolina and/or South Carolina is mandatory.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in civil engineering with at least 3-5 years in a project manager lead role is essential.
  • Proficiency in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil-3D or similar is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is also required.
