About the RoleYou will join one of our dedicated teams working on mobile apps. We have two backend engineering roles available.
Owningnership covers the global signup flow, handling in-app subscriptions, purchases and integrations. Alternatively, you will work on invoicing and contacts management, focusing on the US market.
Our mobile teams are multi-disciplinary, including specialists in iOS, Android and Backend Engineering within a single team.
We work collaboratively across Australia and New Zealand, incorporating cross-functions such as Design, Marketing and Product.
This has led to achievements like reliable and scalable app features.
We focus on delivering value to our customers by creating software applications.
We continuously improve our work through research, experiments, health monitoring and prototyping.
What You Will Do- Create software that solves complex problems at scale.
- Collaborate with other professionals to deliver beautiful software to customers faster.
- Develop software applications for our existing product suite, contributing to new or improved experiences.
- Maintain engineering excellence standards and support your team members in building products together.
- Demonstrate leadership on best practices and mentor other team members.
- Contribute to our cross-functional environment by working towards shared objectives.
- Solve technical complexities and demonstrate smart automation ways.
- Make data-driven decisions to release value early and solve customer problems effectively.
- Advocate and teach design principles and automated tooling.
- Proficient in continuous integration and deployment concepts.
- Make major code design decisions for individual products.
- Maintain high coding standards and an emphasis on testing.
- Experience in developing secure, performant and scalable software.
- Experience with agile methodologies.
- Keep up with latest development trends.
- C# and .NET proficiency.
- Experience with cloud computing and containerization.
- Previous experience enabling mobile teams from an API perspective is beneficial.
- Previous experience developing software applications is also beneficial.
