Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our Ferntree Gully workforce.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining and decommissioning Telecommunication networks including Optus, Uecomm, NBN, Telstra, TPG and Telco Authorities. The role requires strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously within teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work onsite/in field as part of one or multiple crews daily
  • Will be part of a rostered-On Call Availability, including working outside normal working hours on a regular basis.
  • Will be required to work away from home from time to time
  • Communicate/report on scheduled works changes or to Field Supervisor.
  • Participate in actual site start up (i.e., mandatory pre-start activities)

Requirements:

  • Hold a current Driver's license
  • Construction OH&S Induction Card
  • Hold MR or higher Truck License
  • Experience in an Infrastructure Services environment
  • Experience in the Telecommunications industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to respond calmly and decisively during a major incident or emergency
  • Ability to work autonomously within teams
  • Experience working at heights

Salary Information:

Estimated salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum based on experience and qualifications.
