This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Critical Care Specialist to join our team at St Vincent's Hospital in a fractional appointment. As a well-established Intensivist with at least 5 years of post-fellowship experience, you will contribute to the ICU team and participate in an ECMO oncall roster to support ECMO initiation and ongoing patient management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in the ICU setting
- Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration to manage complex patients
- Supervise and support junior trainees
- Contribute to department management and leadership
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement work
Requirements:
- MBBS or equivalent
- AHPRA registration
- Fellow of CICM with a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in intensive care medicine
- Recent experience in neurocritical care
- Adequate skills and experience in the provision of ECMO to provide ECMO initiation and management
- Ongoing participation in CICM or equivalent CPD program

Our ICU is a 20-bed mixed medical and surgical intensive care service that admits 1600 patients per year. We maintain high performance and outstanding patient outcomes, and are committed to providing high-quality patient care.

- Acute neurocritical care program
