Occupational Therapist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals achieve their full potential and participate in work-related activities.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds, and have a strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices.

  • Evaluate the needs of workers who have suffered injuries or illnesses, and develop effective rehabilitation plans to help them return to work.
  • Conduct assessments, such as workplace evaluations and ergonomics assessments, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work with clients to identify their transferable skills, qualifications, and interests, and provide guidance on future employment or training options.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
