About the Role

The Associate Director, Project Management Office is a key member of the executive management team at Charles Sturt University. This role is responsible for developing and providing leadership of high-quality project, portfolio, business process improvement, and business analysis services.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide strategic advice and support the governance of technology-related projects at Charles Sturt, including the support of its formal governance structures and committees.
  2. Develop and implement project management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices to ensure successful project delivery.
  3. Lead and manage a team of project managers and business analysts to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  4. Analyse and optimise complex, enterprise business processes to secure measurable benefits.

Requirements

  1. Extensive experience in project management, business analysis, and business improvement frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
  2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  3. Proven people management skills, including experience in managing, recruiting, and developing teams across multiple locations.
  4. Experience in analysing and optimising complex, enterprise business processes to secure measurable benefits.
