About Our Organization

Royal Rehab Private Petersham is a prominent provider of rehabilitation and disability services, committed to delivering high-quality care in a 34-bed private rehabilitation hospital. Our team is dedicated to fostering an inclusive workplace culture that reflects the diverse communities we serve.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide therapy for a diverse patient population, including those with neurological conditions.
  • Manage patient cases and contribute to discharge planning, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Supervise and mentor Allied Health Assistants and students as necessary.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in Speech Pathology with eligibility for membership in the relevant professional body.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in Speech Pathology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • A commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in a private hospital or rehabilitation environment.
  • Background in treating neurological disorders.
  • Experience in supervising staff or students.
  • Certification in LSVT.
