Cloud Operations Lead Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Operations Lead to oversee the management of all production Azure hosted environments, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to best practices.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in cloud operations, and the ability to strategize and prioritize work to meet obligations and opportunities.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Managing the operating environment, software, compliance, and security of all production Azure hosted environments.
  • Ensuring that SLAs are met by implementing best practices and controls.
  • Collaborating with teams to develop strategies for effective and efficient migration of systems from development to production.
  • Providing technical support and resolving escalations for multiple infrastructure technologies.
  • Establishing operational standards and delivering infrastructure automation initiatives to reduce manual work.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a Cloud Operations Lead or Manager role.
  • A proven track record of building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders and delivery teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to promote continuous improvement of team environments.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen with a minimum of an active Baseline clearance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with both technical and non-technical audiences.
