Job Overview

This is a senior-level technical position that focuses on providing pre-sales support for complex products and solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with customers to identify their technical needs and develop customized storage technology solutions.


Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise: Provide in-depth product knowledge to sales staff and customers through sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Application Assessment: Assist sales staff in evaluating potential applications of company products to meet customer needs, including preparing detailed product specifications.
  • Design and Implementation: Create detailed design and implementation specifications for complex products and solutions.
  • Rapid Prototyping: Build mini-applications based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility and conduct product demos.
  • Consultation: Provide consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Storage Expertise: At least 8 years of experience and expertise in technical specifications on storage products and services.
  • Telco Experience: Experience working with telecom customers/service providers is essential.
  • Leadership Role: Prior experience in roles such as Sales Engineering, Solutions Architect, or Solutions Engineering on storage technologies.
  • Subject Matter Expert: Operate as Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) and able to influence Sales team, driving initiatives and act as a Decision-maker on Projects.
  • Product Knowledge: Experience or working knowledge with EMC, HDS, HPE, IBM, VMware or PureStorage products.
  • Cloud and AI: Knowledge in Cloud, Storage, AI/ML, Database, Microservice, Enterprise Application or DevOps is advantageous.
  • Docker and Kubernetes: Knowledge of Docker/Container & Kubernetes (K8S) platform.
  • Hybrid Multi-cloud: Knowledge of hybrid multi-cloud technologies, AI Platform.
