The role of Executive Manager is a critical position within the organization, requiring a leader with exceptional strategic and commercial acumen.

This high-profile job involves overseeing four diverse teams – Performance Reporting, Data Analytics, Frontline Reporting, and Line 1 Risk – providing strategic advice to senior stakeholders, and driving business outcomes through effective financial management.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial services, preferably in a Retail Banking environment, and be able to inspire and motivate their team to achieve exceptional results.

Key responsibilities include leading the weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly performance reporting process for the organization, driving business outcomes through strategic advice, and preparing high-quality presentations and supporting analysis for senior management.

The Executive Manager will also engage with stakeholders across Finance, Product, Distribution, Treasury, Risk, and Analytics to understand the underlying drivers of financial and business performance, and implement the organization's data analytics strategy to drive improvement.

A strong focus on risk management, customer engagement, and skill development is essential, as well as the ability to shape the strategic direction for their team and prioritize work effectively.

This is a highly valued and engaging role that offers the opportunity to make a real impact on the organization's success.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 10+ years of experience in Financial Services, preferably in a Retail Banking environment;
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills;
  • High degree of commercial acumen;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously;
  • Results-driven approach;
  • Strong leadership skills, including experience building and managing a high-performing team;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders.
