As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting geologists who utilize our software solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to drive the ongoing engagement of customers using our Micromine Origin software solution.

This role involves analyzing usage data, identifying trends, and providing technical support to users who could benefit from further assistance. You will also document all support issues in our support management database and escalate complex matters to other departments when necessary.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will occasionally support the delivery of training courses online and face-to-face to clients. This is an excellent opportunity to share your knowledge and skills with others while contributing to the growth and success of our business.

To excel in this role, you will need to have a proven background in earth sciences and a keen interest in transitioning into the software industry. A tertiary qualification in earth sciences or engineering, combined with experience in exploration or mining environments, is essential. Strong technical skills in geology and familiarity with mining software are also required.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for success in this position. You will work closely with colleagues and clients to provide exceptional support and guidance. A passion for helping clients succeed through technology is vital, as is recent experience with Micromine software or general mining software.
