Job Title: Clinical Nurse/Midwife Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse/Midwife to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including maternity services, postnatal care, and women's health.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading clinical education, promoting quality patient care, and guiding less experienced staff. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills in midwifery and nursing practices.

About the Role:

  • Lead Clinical Education: Develop and implement educational programs to promote best practice in midwifery and nursing care.
  • Quality Patient Care: Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring that patients receive safe and effective treatment.
  • Staff Development: Guide and support less experienced staff, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Registered Midwife or Nurse/Midwife: Hold current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
  • Education Qualifications: Additional tertiary or vocational qualifications in education.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work with individuals and families for positive health outcomes.
