Job Title: Veterinary Care Team Leader

We are seeking a seasoned veterinarian to oversee the wellbeing and performance of our veterinary team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful contribution to the success of our practice.

The ideal candidate will have clinical experience in a vet role, with a proven track record of providing quality care and leadership. They will be comfortable working sole charge and have experience in a busy small animal GP clinic.

In addition to their technical skills, the successful applicant will possess strong leadership abilities, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration. They will be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients, and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of veterinarian wellbeing and performance
  • Quality control of teaching and training programs
  • Contribution to financial management and budgeting processes
  • Leadership and collaboration with the leadership team

Requirements:

  • Clinical experience required in a vet role
  • Comfortable working sole charge
  • Experience in a busy small animal GP clinic
  • Good leadership skills within a small team
  • Availability for Saturday work

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Relevant veterinary qualification from an accredited university in Australia
  • Up-to-date CPD and ongoing professional development
  • Relevant language skills and ability to communicate effectively
  • Licenced to provide veterinary care in Australia
