Evolve Scientific is a leading food manufacturer dedicated to delivering high-quality products to the market. As a well-established company, we are seeking a skilled Laboratory Assistant to join our team on a 2-month casual basis, with strong potential for extension.

About the Role:

The Laboratory Assistant will report to the Laboratory Manager and be responsible for:

• Conducting frying trials on products to ensure quality and consistency
• Performing basic QC laboratory testing, including titrations, micro testing, and pipetting
• Weighing out raw materials for production to ensure accurate formulations
• Compiling and analyzing data to inform product development and quality control
• Maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Food Science or a related field
• Experience working with high-temperature frying vessels and laboratory equipment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A high attention to detail and ability to work methodically in a fast-paced environment
