Job Title: Heavy Diesel Fitters

We are seeking skilled Heavy Diesel Fitters to join our team at Exact Contracting, a leading Australian family-owned company with over 500 employees nationwide.

About the Role:

As a Heavy Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnostics, fault finding, repairs, and scheduled and impromptu maintenance of company-owned mobile plant equipment. This includes workshop-based duties and infield breakdowns in unique environments that can be dry, dusty, and hot.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and maintenance of mobile plant equipment
  • Diagnostics and fault finding
  • Repairs and maintenance of equipment
  • Workshop-based duties and infield breakdowns

Requirements:

  • Heavy Diesel Trade Qualification (essential)
  • Auto-electrical experience (highly regarded)
  • Current unrestricted driver's license
  • At least two years of relevant experience maintaining road transport and earthmoving equipment
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with site requirements
  • Dedication to learning, high-quality work, and achieving goals
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to work in a team
