Norco Co seeks a highly skilled Health & Wellbeing Advisor to join our team.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading early intervention and workers' compensation processes, training and coaching managers and supervisors, driving WHS improvements, analyzing injury reports, staying ahead of legislative changes, planning and implementing wellbeing and injury management initiatives, managing external services, and determining corrective actions for workplace incidents.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead early intervention and workers' compensation processes.
  • Train and coach managers and supervisors in injury reporting and management.
  • Drive WHS improvements and compliance with legislation.
  • Analyze injury reports to inform strategic decisions.
  • Stay ahead of changes in workers' compensation and WHS laws.
  • Plan and implement wellbeing and injury management initiatives.
  • Manage pre-employment medicals, workplace assessments, and other external services.
  • Determine causes and corrective actions for workplace incidents.

Requirements:

  • Accreditation as an Advanced RTW Coordinator.
  • Degree in Health and Rehabilitation, WHS, or related field.
  • Proven track record in injury management, return-to-work coordination, and workers' compensation.
  • In-depth understanding of WHS and workers' compensation legislation in QLD and NSW.
  • Strong investigative and mentoring abilities.
