Job Description:

This Junior Accountant will be responsible for assisting in daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain financial statements and balance sheets.
  • Handle accounts receivable, accounts payable, and issue invoices.
  • Assist with payroll administration, tax calculations, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial reporting processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (preferably Xero).
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
