The YMCA WA is seeking a qualified Compliance and Quality Management Specialist to join their team.

Job Description:
  • Support Service Directors and Educators to understand and comply with policies, procedures, national laws, and regulations.
  • Conduct service-wide quality and compliance audits to ensure high standards are met.
  • Develop and implement Quality & Compliance strategies and systems to improve performance.
  • Monitor services' compliance trends and changes to maintain regulatory requirements.
  • Oversight of National Quality Standards, including food business licenses, grants, and prescribed information.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Quality Compliance, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a management or leadership role within the early childhood sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework, My Time Our Place, Family Assistance Law, and other relevant laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with the Child Care Subsidy system and its requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
