Exciting Opportunity for a Carpenter Apprentice



We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Carpenter Apprentice to join our team at East Coast Apprenticeships. As a key member of our construction team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in carpentry, working on residential new builds and renovations.



Your Key Responsibilities


  • Construct wall and ceiling frames, pitched roofs, eaves, external stairs, and other structural elements.
  • Laying sub-flooring and floorboards, ensuring a strong foundation for our projects.
  • Nailing fascia panels, fitting exterior wall cladding, door and window frames, and other exterior components.
  • Measuring materials and carrying out calculations to ensure accurate and efficient use of resources.
  • Cutting materials, assembling, and nailing to create high-quality finishes.
  • Using a variety of hand and power tools to complete tasks safely and effectively.


Requirements


  • Physically fit, self-disciplined, and have attention to detail.
  • Reliable, resilient, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A current Drivers' Licence, and have your own reliable transport.
  • A White Card or the ability to obtain one ASAP.
