Job Title: Paraplanner - Banking and Financial Services

A key role in our organization is supporting bankers by preparing high-quality, compliant, and strategically accurate advice documents.

Our team delivers tailored financial solutions that meet client needs and regulatory requirements by collaborating with various stakeholders and ensuring adherence to compliance standards.

You will be part of a friendly and supportive team where everyone contributes ideas and drives outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Paraplanner, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and compliant advice documents, such as Statements of Advice (SoAs) and Wholesale Advice Documents (WADs), tailored to meet client goals and objectives.

Collaborate closely with Bankers and internal stakeholders to refine recommendations, conduct detailed financial calculations, and ensure all advice aligns with compliance standards.

Your role will also include reviewing advice submissions, maintaining detailed records, and providing coaching to Bankers on documentation standards.

Additionally, you will manage your workload to meet service level agreements and escalate any compliance or process inefficiencies as needed.

  • Strong understanding of financial planning principles, investment strategies, and regulatory requirements.
  • High attention to detail, with proven ability to draft accurate advice documents and perform precise financial calculations.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders and articulate advice recommendations clearly.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain detailed records to ensure compliance.
