Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, conduct, and direct research and development work on complex quality projects.
  • Utilize advanced knowledge to oversee and complete projects, ensuring high standards.
  • Ensure that products are in alignment with customer and company quality requirements.
  • Make informed decisions using professional judgment and quality principles.
  • Provide technical inspiration and leadership to co-workers.
  • Lead quality assurance and quality control efforts on assigned programs.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of new systems and procedures.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and plan approaches to resolve complex technical problems.
  • Conduct investigations and tests of significant complexity.
  • Assess and evaluate vendor capabilities.
  • Offer technical consultation to engineers and inspectors.
  • Act as a liaison with outside suppliers.
  • Develop and apply testing procedures for parts or sub-assemblies.
  • Participate in the development of internal quality control programs.
  • Recommend and implement corrective actions to address quality problems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a quality management role.
  • Lead Auditor/Auditor Certification is desired.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel as required.
