About the Role

In this leadership position, you will oversee the efficient and effective operation of our outdoor pools, ensuring the highest level of customer service and safety for staff and patrons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Aquatic Operations Coordinator with daily pool operations, including maintenance, staff supervision, and customer service.
  • Provide leadership to a team of lifeguards, ensuring the delivery of high-quality customer service and a safe environment.
  • Perform the role of Shift Supervisor and lifeguard on a regular basis, maintaining a high level of professionalism and expertise.
  • Ensure pool equipment and surroundings are well-maintained and meet health and safety standards.
  • Monitor and maintain water quality, adhering to Health Department Regulations.
  • Perform routine pool plant maintenance, including backwashing and chemical dosing.
  • Assist in developing and managing Aquatic staff rosters to meet operational needs.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will require extensive experience in an aquatic environment, customer service, and leadership. You will also need to demonstrate the ability to build relationships with staff and client groups.

Essential Experience
  • Level 2 First Aid Certificate
  • Pool Lifeguard Qualifications
  • Working with Children Check
  • Experience in a leadership role
  • Good knowledge of pool plant operations
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, implementation, reporting, and evaluation of innovative procedures
  • Preferred candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check and a pre-employment medical assessment
