Seeking an experienced roofer to join our team in Mount Gambier, South Australia.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled tradesperson with expertise in roofing to carry out maintenance work, primarily roofing and laboring duties. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on various properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and Repair: Install new roofs on warehouses and commercial buildings, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to assess the condition of roofs and identify necessary repairs or replacements.
- Tools and Equipment: Utilize a range of tools and equipment to complete roofing projects efficiently and safely.
- Safety Regulations: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while working at heights and in varying weather conditions.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout the project.
Work Environment:
The ideal candidate will have good physical fitness and be able to lift heavy materials. A valid driver's license is preferred for transportation to job sites.
Remuneration:
Competitive hourly rates ranging from $40 to $55 per hour, with additional pay for overtime based on skills and experience.
