Job Opportunity: Expert Midwife Care Specialist

This role requires a registered midwife who delivers exceptional clinical midwifery care to a defined group of women throughout their pregnancy journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive antenatal and postnatal care through regular home visits, community clinics or hospital appointments within a specific geographic area.
  • Collaborate with the Ipswich Hospital midwives and obstetric team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Manage a caseload of up to 38 clients per year, equating to full-time employment.
About You:
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge in Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) and deliver expert care in complex situations.
  • Effective communication is essential when interacting with healthcare professionals, patients and visitors, promoting a positive work environment.
  • Maintain high standards of evidence-based midwifery care and documentation to achieve quality patient outcomes.
  • Prioritize tasks, manage complex caseloads efficiently and proactively seek opportunities for professional growth.
  • Take ownership of your continuous learning and development to stay up-to-date with industry advancements.
