Job Overview

This position presents a unique opportunity to be part of maintaining and upgrading an electric network for the ACT region.

  • The role involves undertaking various tasks associated with the construction and maintenance of the electrical network, including cable termination, mini pillar maintenance, and switchgear maintenance.
  • Participation in on-call & shift-work rosters is required as necessary based on Evoenergy policy.
  • Fault response and rectification works are also a key aspect of this position.
  • Services will be installed from the distribution network to customers' premises.
Key Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A minimum Certificate III Systems Electrician qualification.
  • Previous successful work experience in the field, specifically in construction and/or maintenance of network infrastructure.
  • A High Risk License – EWP.
  • An OH&S General Induction Card.
  • Asbestos Awareness training.
  • A current ACT motor vehicle licence or its acceptable equivalent.
