Job Title: Policy Advisor

We are seeking an experienced Policy Advisor to join our team at Hudson Australia. As a Policy Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the planning, delivery, and evaluation of projects related to legislation, policy, and regulation.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in policy analysis, development, and regulatory reform processes. You will be responsible for researching, collating, and compiling information to identify emerging integrity and compliance issues and to anticipate legislative changes and policy reforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advice and support to the Principal Advisor and the broader Integrity and Regulation Branch leadership team on matters relating to process improvement, integrity, compliance, policy, and regulation reforms.
  • Prepare high-quality, factual, and accurate reports, presentations, and correspondence that are clear, concise, and grammatically correct.
  • Support the development and maintenance of integrity and compliance approaches and frameworks for the organisation.
  • Conduct research and analysis, provide input on policy advice and proposals, document preparation, project delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Public Administration, Regulatory policy, or equivalent discipline.
  • Proven experience in policy analysis, development, and regulatory reform processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
