Expert Clinical Leadership Role

This position requires a registered nurse with expertise in stomal therapy and continence care to provide clinical leadership and consultation. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational management of stomal therapy and continence referrals, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert clinical leadership in the assessment, management, and education of patients with ostomies and continence issues.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure superior delivery of holistic care to inpatients.
  • Employ high-level clinical knowledge and judgement to manage complex patient cases.
  • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and research projects related to Trial of Void protocols and continence and ostomy care.
About You:
  • You must be a currently registered Registered Nurse (Division 1) with a relevant healthcare regulatory agency.
  • You should have at least 5 years full-time equivalent post-registration experience and approved post-registration nursing qualifications relevant to Stomal Therapy /Continence Nursing.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability working in a multidisciplinary healthcare team with a comprehensive understanding of clinical governance and current nursing issues.
