Job Title: Merchandise Manager

As a key player in our sales team, you will have the opportunity to lead our rural merchandise business and drive growth through effective leadership and sales performance management.

Key responsibilities include managing the sales of rural merchandise, forecasting and planning inventory, procuring and ordering products, processing sales, managing logistics, controlling stock, and conducting regular stocktakes.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives.
  • Work closely with management and other sales team members to provide exceptional customer service and support.
  • Collaborate with supplier representatives to deliver value and solutions to our clients and customers.

About You:

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyse market trends and climatic and seasonal considerations.
  • Self-motivated and driven to implement improvements in all areas of store operations.
  • Ability to develop solid long-term partnerships with clients and other key stakeholders.
