About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate English teacher to join our team at Hedland Senior High School. As a member of our English department, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education to our students and contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach English to students from Year 7 to Year 12, using a range of teaching methods and technologies to engage and motivate learners.
  • Develop and implement curriculum programs that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support student growth and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives that promote student learning and well-being.
  • Participate in professional learning and development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and stay up-to-date with best practices in English education.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:
