Job Title: Maths Instructor Position

This is an excellent opportunity to take on a temporary full-time role as a maths instructor at Marian Catholic College Kenthurst. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching maths to students and providing a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging maths lessons that cater to the needs of all students
  • Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and challenging learning environment
  • Provide regular feedback on assessment tasks in line with college requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of student achievement
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective teaching strategies to support student learning
  • Work collaboratively within the college community to set high, achievable goals for yourself and your students

Requirements:

  • Current qualifications and experience teaching maths or approval to teach
  • Strong ICT skills with the ability and willingness to integrate technology into teaching where relevant
  • Strong communication and organisational skills ensuring reporting deadlines are met
  • Ability to motivate students and foster a love of learning
  • Flexibility to differentiate learning activities and assessment techniques to support a wide range of learners
  • Willingness to be an active part of the Marian community
