Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Manager to join our Construction team in Brisbane, Australia. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in implementing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) initiatives on site, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and guidelines.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the HSE team to define HSE requirements for the site in accordance with the HSE Management Plan for the project.
- Managing the site team, contractors, and subcontractors to deliver the ETCS L2 project plan.
- Coordinating all site activities for technological works, including signalling (civil and electrical) and communications infrastructure construction, to deliver the project delivery plan.
- Optimising project resources (internal or external, including subcontractors) to achieve project deliverables and milestones, in line with the project deliverables.
- Developing project metrics to ensure continual improvement and delivery of the program schedule.
Requirements:
- 10+ years' experience in a similar rail and civil construction leadership role.
- Construction White Card.
- Demonstrated competency in legislation and standards relating to Construction and Health & Safety.
- Outstanding planning and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated experience working within a brownfield railway signalling environment.
- Extensive Site management and team management experience.
- Knowledge of software tools and technical systems.
- Agile mindset, able to take prompt decisions in a challenging environment.
- Demonstrates perseverance, patience, and commitment for long-term success.
