About the Role: Backend Developers

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with expertise in Java.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions and integrations that facilitate the management of complex network technologies and systems.

- Transform customer requirements into reusable API-based microservices, data models, and workflows.

- Collaborate with frontend teams to define API specifications that enhance user experience and ensure seamless end-to-end processes.

- Partner with Product Owners to create and refine business and technology roadmaps.

- Leverage both on-premises and cloud technologies for application deployment and hosting.

- Take ownership of Backend Microservices, utilizing Java.

- Utilize existing code repositories and CI/CD pipelines for deployment in development and production environments.

- Lead Agile ceremonies, including planning, design, and estimation sessions.

- Ensure solutions meet security and operational standards.

- Evaluate third-party and open-source libraries to fulfill business needs and manage software supply chain delivery.

- Assess internal libraries, tools, APIs, and systems to align with business requirements.

- Develop technology functionalities tailored to business needs, capitalizing on emerging technologies.

- Engage in a collaborative DevOps and DevSecOps environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

- A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Typically, 5-10 years of experience in Operational or Software Engineering roles, with proficiency in various deployment, automation, and configuration management tools.

- Strong experience in one or more of the following technologies:

    o Java

    o JavaScript

- Familiarity with network automation, Software Defined Networking, and NFVi concepts.

- Proven programming skills adhering to sound software engineering principles, including API integration.

- Practical experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines, focusing on enhancing CI/CD capabilities.

- Experience in implementing Infrastructure-as-Code, such as Terraform.

- Participation in agile project teams and exposure to DevOps practices and tools.

- Eagerness to learn new technologies and drive innovation.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.

- Strong interpersonal and consultative abilities.

- A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
